Manchester United 0 vs 1 Newcastle United -
Played 90′ + 3 - FULL-TIME! Newcastle snatch a famous win at Old Trafford! It is their first victory at United
since 1972, while it is the first time since 2002 that
United have lost back-to-back home matches.
Newcastle are fully deserving of the win, but the hosts
were poor. They could be 15 points behind leaders
Arsenal by the end of the weekend. 90′ + 2 - United trying to pressure the visitors, but Yanga-Mbiwa does well down the right to earn his side
a corner. 90′ + 1 - Yellow Card - Vurnon Anita (Newcastle United) 90′ + 1 - Anita takes one for the team as he fouls Anderson while a counterattack loomed and he earns
a yellow card. 90′ - Three minutes of stoppage time added. 87′ - Januzaj's delivery is relatively good, but it goes to the back post where there are few United
players. The chance is wasted, essentially. 86′ - Evra holds up the play on the left and keeps the ball away from Yanga-Mbiwa. The Newcastle man
makes the silly decision to kick him, however, thus
conceding a free-kick. 83′ - Substitution Mathieu Debuchy Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (Newcastle United) 83′ - If this match stays as it is and Arsenal win their match this weekend, United would be 15 points
behind them. Surely they won't be able to come back
from that? 80′ - United are pressing with intent and the introduction of Anderson in the midfield seems to have
helped as he looks to drive forward, but they still aren't
creating enough chances. Zaha has been quiet and
disappointing since coming on. 78′ - Substitution Yohan Cabaye Shola Ameobi (Newcastle United) 77′ - Substitution Rafael Antonio Valencia (Manchester United) 77′ - Crunching tackle from Vidic on Anita. The Serbian goes flying through his opponent at full steam,
leaving him in a heap on the floor. It was perfectly-
timed. 76′ - Van Persie's free-kick is whipped in with excellent pace, but it evades everyone and goes out
for a goalkick. 75′ - Lovely footwork from Januzaj as the Belgian produces two stepovers and wins a free-kick from Ben
Arfa. 74′ - Januzaj cuts inside from the right and beats two men before picking out Zaha on the opposite side
of the area. The winger tries to curl a shot into the top
far corner, but his strike goes narrowly wide. 73′ - Van Persie has the ball in the back of the net, finally, but United's celebrations are cut short as the
Dutch forward is flagged offside. 72′ - Good play by Januzaj as he charges through the inside-right channel. He wins United a free-kick in
a good position on the right. 70′ - And now Anderson comes on for Cleverley. 69′ - Substitution Tom Cleverley Anderson (Manchester United) 68′ - Substitution Nani Wilfried Zaha (Manchester United) 68′ - Here comes Zaha for his Premier League debut. He replaces Nani, who was generally
disappointing. 67′ - Newcastle are finding this too easy in midfield. They are finding little opposition in the centre, with
Cabaye & Co. controlling this. 64′ - United look painfully short of ideas in attack. Januzaj has gone quiet, Nani still hasn't livened up,
Hernandez can't get involved and Van Persie clearly
isn't fit. It looks like Zaha's time has come. 61′ - Assist - Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle United) 61′ - Goal - Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle United) GOAL!!! Newcastle take the lead at Old Trafford!
Sissoko did well to latch on to Evra's poor headed
clearance on the right. He burst into the right side of
the area, cut the ball back for Cabaye and the France
international slotted past De Gea. The hosts are in
trouble. 60′ - Sissoko is clearly inspired by goal from last weekend against West Brom as he lines up a shot
from at least 30 yards, but it sails well wide. 58′ - Remy does well to retain possession on the left. He keeps the ball away from Rafael and Cleverley
before looking out to the right. His long pass is awful,
however, as it flies straight out of play. 57′ - Substitution Yoan Gouffran Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle United) 55′ - United hit the post! Evra's header is deflected off Williamson and looks destined to go in, but the ball
hits Anita on the arm and then hits the post. The
hosts aren't happy! 55′ - Good delivery by Nani towards the near post, but Coloccini heads it clear just in front of Van Persie. 54′ - Free-kick near the left corner flag for United as Januzaj is unfairly challenged by Sissoko. Nani to
take. 53′ - Another good save by Krul, this time to deny Januzaj, who fires a half-volley at the Dutch
goalkeeper. 52′ - Big chance for United! Van Persie unleashes an outrageous pass over the Newcastle defence from
the half-way line and Hernandez controls. The
Mexican hits a low and powerful shot at goal, but Krul
saves well. 49′ - Clever play by Nani to release Rafael down the right. The Brazilian's devilish cross is excellent and
looks set to fall to Van Persie, but Williamson
manages to cut it out. 47′ - Tentative penalty claims from Newcastle as Gouffran launches himself on the floor after trying to
squeeze between Rafael and Jones. Nothing given. 46′ - Newcastle restart the action. 45′ + 3 - HALF-TIME: The referee blows his whistle for half-time, bringing to an end a fairly even half.
United have probably edged it, but Newcastle are
definitely in this. 45′ + 2 - Another chance for Debuchy, this time with his head as he nods a Santon cross at De Gea. 45′ + 1 - Great chance for Newcastle! Remy plays a clever pass in behind Evra for Debuchy. The full-
backs controls and shoots from an acute angle,
forcing De Gea into an important save. 44′ - History repeats itself as Van Persie's corner creates nothing. 43′ - Good play again by Hernandez as he gets into the area again, but this time he wins a corner. 42′ - United have penalty claims turned down! Hernandez's mazy run seems to catch Coloccini off
guard and the Argentine appears to kick his
opponent's foot, but the referee gives nothing. 40′ - Tiote goes for goal from about 35 yards, but his efforts shows why he hasn't scored since 2011 as
it goes miles over. 37′ - Brilliant turn by Nani in the middle of the Newcastle half as he takes two opponents out of the
game. The ball is eventually worked into the right side
of the area for Januzaj, but the youngster's first-touch
sees the ball gifted back to the visitors. 34′ - United get themselves into a bit of a mess as Evans knocks the ball back to De Gea while under
pressure. The Spaniard slices his clearance and
Newcastle get a throw-in. 31′ - Cleverley does well to steal possession in the middle. He roams towards the right and crosses from
deep. His delivery is inviting, but Nani can't quite get
there ahead of Williamson. 29′ - Sissoko does well on the left for Newcastle as he cuts inside Rafael and then jinks past Cleverley.
He tees up Cabaye, whose long-range effort is
deflected on to the roof of the goal by Vidic. 27′ - Williamson heads Van Persie's delivery clear, but on as far as Januzaj. The youngster produces an
excellent cross, only for the Newcastle man to nod
away again. 26′ - Free-kick in a good position on the right now for United after Rafael is pushed over by Santon. Van
Persie stands over it. 25′ - Nani gives the ball away in United's half. Tiote passes forward to Cabaye, but the France midfielder's
effort goes well wide. 23′ - Van Persie's delivery is good, but Newcastle get it away relatively easily. 22′ - Hernandez marches forward towards the depleted Newcastle defence. He gets towards the area
and feeds Januzaj in to his right. The Belgian crosses
low into the centre, but Newcastle stick it behind for a
corner. 21′ - Newcastle are being given plenty of time on the ball by the hosts, surprisingly. Moyes' men seem
to have had a lack of intensity in attack so far. 18′ - Decent chance for Newcastle. Sissoko bursts away from a tackle on the right wing and crosses into
the centre, but Remy heads just wide of the target. 17′ - Wonderful tackle by Vidic as the Serbian slides across and hooks the ball away from Debuchy
and out of play. 16′ - We are having a brief pause in play as Nani seeks medical attention following an aerial clash with
Debuchy. He should be fine to continue,
however. 14′ - Cabaye comes out to the left in order to create, but his lofted ball into the area simply goes out
of play after giving Remy little chance of collecting. 11′ - Good move by the hosts. Good combination play between Cleverley and Nani sees them spring a
counterattack. The latter skips past Debuchy like he
isn't even there and crosses to the far post. Januzaj
cuts the ball back to Jones, whose shot is deflected
to Van Persie, but Newcastle boot it clear. 9′ - Yellow Card - Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle United) 9′ - Decent chance for United. Hernandez's run to the right opened up a big gap in the middle and
Januzaj picked out the run of Jones. The midfielder
surged forward and shot from the edge of the area, but
Krul made a comfortable save down to his
right. 8′ - And there is the match's first yellow card. Unsurprisingly it goes to Cabaye, who caught Januzaj
with a late challenge. 7′ - Brilliant cross-field ball by Cleverley to Rafael, but after bringing the ball down well, the Brazilian's
cross is poor. 6′ - Jones wins a free-kick out on the right wing after taking a bit of a clattering from Cabaye. Silly
tackle, really. 4′ - United have seen plenty of the ball in the opening few minutes, but they've not done anything
meaningful with it just yet. 1′ - Encouraging start for Newcastle as Gouffran gets down the left, beats Rafael and crosses, but Evra
hooks it away. 1′ - Off we go. The hosts start the action. … - We will now have a minute of applause in tribute to Nelson Mandela, who passed away on
